Description /

The Centre for Crop and Disease Management is a national research centre co-supported by Curtin University and the Grains Research and Development Corporation, estimated to be saving industry more than $100m each year as a result of research discoveries. Curtin University’s new state of the art research building provides the facilities that will enable these discoveries to continue into the future.

Our Role /

In order for Curtin University to obtain funding grants, it was crucial they had requisite research facilities by 2016. After engaging early on with project stakeholders at all levels, NS Projects identified the project vision and objectives, while developing and presenting alternative procurement strategies. The alternative procurement strategy fostered a ‘one team’ approach to the project, resulting in a new building delivered on time and on budget. This enabled Curtin to undertake new research, benefiting the wider community and industry.
