Description /

The Integrated Marine Operations Centre [IMOC], located in the Port of Port Hedland, facilitates the safe and efficient movements of vessels for the largest bulk export port in the world.

The flagship building for the Pilbara Ports Authority provides its marine operations department with uninterrupted 360-degree views of the port with improved and centralised CCTV operations.

The state-of-the-art facility also includes leading-edge radar technology with enhanced office and accommodation facilities. All elements of the building have been designed and delivered in a way that allows for continuous functionality throughout cyclonic weather conditions. 

Our Role /

NS Group provided Superintendency, Clerk of Works, and Construction and Stakeholder Coordination services for the delivery of the IMOC tower and integrated fit-out of the vessel traffic service [VTS] system on behalf of the Pilbara Ports Authority.
