Fifteen years of passion and pride for Daniel Miller /

Congratulations to Associate Director and VIC State Manager, Daniel Miller, on an illustrious 15-year career with NS Group!

A proven development and project management practitioner, Daniel’s expertise lies in the planning and delivery of retail, urban renewal, land development, infrastructure and tertiary education projects.

His career at NS Group, commencing as a third-year construction management university student, has seen him rise through the company ranks whilst establishing his reputation as a consummate industry professional.

Daniel honed his skills in Perth for over a decade before being handpicked in 2018 as VIC State Manager tasked with leading the company’s operations in Melbourne through driving business growth and overseeing team performance.

Daniel said, “The best things about working at NS Group are the opportunities for career development, the positive working environment and the diversity of the projects that we work across.

“I’ve valued the opportunity to grow with the business, working alongside and learning from some of the best professionals in the industry.”

Daniel gravitates towards projects involving elements of placemaking – it is an area of interest in which he holds significant expertise, most recently with the City Renewal Authority to transform and activate urban precincts in Canberra.

“I’m passionate about creating vibrant, healthy and sustainable places which are valued by the community,” he said.

“I strongly believe that placemaking can be an incredibly powerful tool to align competing stakeholder and community interests and create authentic places.

“When I speak with people in a social setting about their positive experiences with the projects that we’ve worked on, it always fills me with great a sense of pride.”

Reflecting on his career to date, Daniel has seen much change across the property and construction industry as projects, professions and practices continually shift and evolve.

He said, “As a business, I hope that we can continue to respond to and embrace whatever changes arise in the future.

“What will always remain invaluable is to take the time to understand what’s important to our clients and their business.

“If you can understand what’s important to them, then you’ll be much better placed to communicate and lead others to deliver the best possible outcomes.”

“I’m passionate about creating vibrant, healthy and sustainable places which are valued by the community.”
