Description /

The Forrest Chase redevelopment has seen the modernisation of one of the largest and most significant shopping centres in Perth, situated in the retail heart of the CBD.

The refurbishment included the reconfiguration and realignment of the specialty retail tenancies, creation of flagship retail stores, an upgrade to the Forrest Chase and Perth City Central façades, services upgrades, and the demolition of the Padbury Walk structure and existing footbridge over the Murray Street Mall and replacement with modern, lightweight structures.

The project was successfully delivered under a design and construct contract, with complex staging and stakeholder management requirements due to the central CBD location and heavily pedestrianised environment, as well as retail and office tenants remaining operational throughout construction.

Our Role /

As Project Manager, Superintendent and Tenancy Delivery Manager, NS Group was appointed to manage the entire redevelopment, which included:

  • design management
  • procurement advice
  • programme and staging management
  • contractor procurement
  • project management services
  • contract administration
  • superintendent services
  • tenancy delivery.

NS Group were central in facilitating a collaborative relationship between the client (ISPT) and contractor (Lendlease) to enable the many challenges of this complex project to be proactively overcome.
