NS Group has been working closely with SwanCare since 2016, providing project management and superintendent services for various developments within their 15-hectare Bentley Park aged care and retirement village.

With the two projects now complete, NS Group continues to assist SwanCare with further developments within this industry-leading complex, including the delivery of the Kingia Main Production Kitchen.
NEW LEISURE PRECINCT & MULTI-STOREY CAR PARK
Driven by the ideas of community, activity and sustainability, the modern retiree will delight in SwanCare’s impressive new leisure precinct.
Forming part of a comprehensive leisure precinct, the two-storey leisure centre incorporates a library, gymnasium, indoor heated pool, fitness centre, club room and resident lounge, and multi-functional rooms.
The precinct is enhanced by a separate community pavilion, function centre, sound and light gardens, and outdoor exercise park.
Redeveloped landscaped areas encompass improved pedestrian linkages designed to draw activities together and create connectivity for residents and visitors alike in the heart of Bentley Park.
A three-level car park, refurbishment of parts of the Mavis Cleaver Court building and reconfigured resident car parking areas were also added to the leisure precinct.
The new facilities provide a variety of entertainment, sporting and other amenities for the vibrant, active and social resident community to enjoy.
Practical completion was achieved in October 2019.
SWANCARE NINGANA AGED CARE FACILITY
The newly constructed 124-room SwanCare Ningana residential aged care facility is a significant addition to the Bentley Park village.
The development encompasses four levels plus a basement, offering clearly defined shared and private spaces for both staff and residents, and a diverse range of indoor and outdoor amenities.
Delivering modern living spaces and integrated centralised services, this industry-leading facility provides a new standard in aged care living and dementia-specific design.
The design imitates familiar concepts in the outside world, offering the analogy of a home, street, neighbourhood, village and town. Clusters of eight to ten rooms share dining, living and kitchenette areas and a protected winter garden allowing access to the outdoors and taking a whole-of-building approach to dementia care.
Reflecting the need for some larger rooms that might be occupied by singles, couples or siblings, the facility offers choice and an environment that is purpose-built to keep people together in the latter part of their life.
Practical completion was achieved in March 2020.
KINGIA MAIN PRODUCTION KITCHEN
The project involved the construction of a new multi-storey building to house a large main production kitchen that could cater for recent developments within the village.
The new building also includes six aged care resident rooms and links two existing buildings on site. Areas within the existing buildings are also being refurbished as part of the works.
Practical completion was achieved for the new kitchen in March 2020. Further separable portions are ongoing.
